Her boyfriend discovered her body on the day of the shooting. News about her death went viral after the hashtag #ripkendra surfaced on Twitter Wednesday. A black Camaro drove through the parking lot of Kendra Childsâ apartment complex and fired five shots into a second-floor apartment, KPRC2 reported Tuesday. Police have not named a suspect in the fatal shooting. Childs left behind a 2-year-old daughter. As noted earlier, some Twitter users might have noticed the trend #ripkendra Wednesday morning. At the time this article was written, it had garnered more than 60,000 tweets. Attached to many of the âRIP Kendraâ tweets are screenshots of messages from the apparent ex-girlfriend of Childsâ boyfriend. Her name appears as âlinglingbabyâ and her handle is @__ladykocaine. She has not been named as a suspect. Her messages allude to violence. A message from Aug. 11 said, âNothing makes me mad about a b---- saying she was with my n---- or whatever cause like I tell him⌠the hoe wonât be around too long.â Two months ago, Ling wrote, âMy plan is to plot for a year⌠And Iâm gone kill them people. [I donât give a f---] if the [police] see this.â Back in January, Ling tweeted, âI think Iâm really evil enough to eat a [mother f-----] alive! Like b---- [I donât give a f---] about you⌠Iâll real life kill you and eat you b---! F--- you.â The day before the Houston shooting, Ling wrote: âPraying everything goes good [tomorrow].
