President Trump 3,508
It's easy to forget that cheek to cheek was not just a joke era. She actually toured out and made a few million dollars singing to really old people. Many of them are fans of hers now, and she must have been influenced by them. When I was eating tea and crumpets with my rich aunt and uncle, they told me, "My my. Tony and gaga are coming to town, we must go see them!" And I'm sure this happened in towns all over America, or wherever else cheek to cheek sold. Tony draws big crowds for being a legendary oldie, and so gaga is now not just returning to pop as the fame monster gaga, she is returning to pop as the cheek to cheek gaga. It was a life changing thing for her tell me no lies Ma ma pa pa pa

2ndTimeAround 664
When I was looking for a house to buy, I went to an open home, and the house obv belonged to some oldies judging by the decor. They had music on, and then i heard The Lady Is a Tramp and i was SHOOK Ps- I live in New Zealand so never really gauged her jazz to resonate so widely worldwide

Kermit 15,807
I don't keep in touch with my grandparents. My mom dislikes this woman, with a passion. Although, I did get her to stan Venus, back in December 2013. “For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. ctherainbow 3,162
I gave my standard copy of Granny#1Grammy to my 50-ish year old WASPy mom, and she plays it all the time. To be fair, though, when I went to the Cheek to Cheek Ball in NYC, half the crowd was obvious Little Monsters, drag queens, and a couple old people. I don't think that Joanne is pandering to old people as much as it is pandering to 80s/90s kids, tbh. I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.

Ronk 14,762
She has had fans of all ages long before C2C, even in their 90s. I am 73 and have been a fan since 2010. True that C2C has brought in more older fans, but she has been doing jazz from time to time her entire career and people noticed. And some older fans like her pop music, her kindness, her family values, and how she helps people. I live outside the space time continuum.
