I wouldn't say she is boring on stage. There is something to be said for just standing up on stage, just a person and a microphone and a voice... no pyrotechnics, flashing lights, or backup dancers. She's so ahhhh.And I agree, I think her performances are amazing. She brings so much emotion into them. I'd rather her stand there and sing and sound amazing.
