Cannot stop listening to this, Love it wish there were a studio version.

It's a great song. I'm sad she didn't do an updated cover for the album. It was featured in the movie Girl, Interrupted and in the credits of Mad Men at one point so it's definitely in the public conciousness.

Could someone please put up a link to iTunes quality tracks from Lana Del Rey - EP? Blue Jeans and Off to the Races aren't available in the Australian iTunes yet. :noparty:

Wow. I really like Off to the Races. I was lukewarm on Video Games. It was kinda interesting but her delivery is SO zombie-ish. Maybe it will grow on me. Born to Die grabbed me a little more, maybe because there was more of a beat to it. But OttR has really gotten my attention. I'm looking forward to her album.

I think she sounds so much better when she sings in her upper register instead of in her zombie low one. Am I alone?

I think she sounds better that way too which is why I love Off To The Races.

Princess Zelda

Wow, I'm listening to Born to Die, and it's kind of heartbreaking. Does anyone else also get end-of-the-world images in their head when they listen to it?

I really like this girl. This song at least.

I listened to this song 8 times and now I'm starting to like it :) I can't stand looking at her face still, it kinda scares me.

Where can I find some live audio of her "born to die" era performances? I loved "videogames" live video (the one where we aren't sure if it's pre-recorded vocals or not aha)

I think she looks undescribably captivating in the video .

She does. I think she looks stunning in it, especially in the church scene with the tigers.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, she looks amazing there.

David Kahne, who produced Lana's FIRST shelved album talks about working with her, great interview, just proves Lana is as talented as she claims. ALSO HE SAYS THE ALBUM WAS CALLED 'NEVADA' [so now everyone who disagrees can shut the **** up already]....

Originally titled Nevada and recorded under her actual name, Lizzy Grant, back in 2008

You were saying? :toofloppy:

The poster meant David Kahne never said those exact words. It wasn't a direct quote.
