Video Games was written while she was in a relationship with a guy (pretty sure the same guy she wrote the entire album about), and she was a stay-at-home kind of girlfriend, she wasn't pursuing a singing career but she was writing. He would come home and play video games, and she would write while watching him :) That's what I remember her saying over a few interviews anyway I have a habit of listening to interviews in the background while I work, so uh..
