The poster meant David Kahne never said those exact words. It wasn't a direct quote.

Why would the site make it up, though? He obviously must have mentioned it somewhere during the interview (before or after), otherwise they wouldn't even have pointed it out.

Maybe, the website got their research wrong? I don't know.

Anyways, I think it's quite trivial so we should get back to discussing the flawless Lana. :sara:

HE never said the album was called Nevada so shut the **** up already

oh my god, why are you being so mean about the title of an album? do you have some sort of source you can link us to that people are ignoring? i mean, that could explain (though not totally justify) your outrage, but if you're being this abusive based on a hunch then you're being ridiculous.

i don't understand where this relevant title would have come from. the only "theory" i've heard is that the label on the album said nevada because it was recorded in a studio in nevada; is there a source on THAT even, that it was recorded in nevada? and even if there is, it doesn't prove anything.

it seems to me like no one knows for sure, so if you have no foundation then you shouldn't be so hateful. whether or not you turn out to be correct doesn't even matter if you're doing this now with no reason.

Lost Weekend

The album may well have been referred to as "Nevada" while working on it but you can;'t deny the fact it was released as "Lana Del Ray". and lana herself referred to the album as "Lana Del Ray"

I'm so glad the EP is doing so well in the US! It could actually go Top 10 if it holds like this all week, and it probably will after SNL.

After SNL and the media outlets are really tuned into her, promo will gain.

I'd expect appearances on night shows too.

Finally, a new artist Interscope is actually promoting properly

Wolf Boy

Yes i agree, i think by the time the album is out for a few weeks and the Blue Jeans video hits and everything is OUT THERE properly, it will just roll on faster and faster.
