Perfect Illusion MV might underperform on VEVO.

Let's be honest, a lot of people already heard the song on VEVO, Spotify, and Apple Music. The music video might underperform and end up with 50-60 million views by the end of this year. Take a look on Britney's Make Me Ooh even though she had major media promo with the 'second music video mess, there are only around 28m views which is disappointing. I was really expecting that she was going to release the music video in the same day as the song, but she did not. If she doesn't release the m/v by the end of this week i'm afraid that she won't perform good on the iTunes/VEVO. Share your thoughts!

I believe theres a strategy behind this

The video is done and its simple. They arent gonna make us wait just because they feel like it

The general consensus is that this song is a grower. More people like it after a few listens

Perhaps they wanna wait a little to create some more hype a little later on to give it some more jolt to ensure it gets some play continuing

if it stays playing enough for long enough enough people may love it for it to be a big hit

thats my theory. they dont wanna waste all the hype right on the beggining and let a song thats a grower just die! :neyde:

Do we really need this thread :madge:

And Make Me's video was utter trash which is why it's under performing

Yeah, the video will flop. The song will plummet on the charts, Trump will win, World War 3 will come, then we die, and the world explodes. The end.

Oh, I'm just visiting-

Queen of negative posts

Maybe you should check my previous posts related to Perfect Illusion before making a conclusion. I'm just being realistic, and my point makes sense, since there are a lot of examples, Britney, and even Beyonce.

it's not 2010 anymore when Youtube views mattered

This is a joke right? Youtube is a huge streaming platform which has lots of weight in how a song charts

Are you serious right now? Views do matter, since they are counted as streams!
