It's tough now a days to produce a pop song that doesn't bare some resemblance to a past song. But, PDP and PI...I don't get it. There is nothing there. Particularly Madonna fans. I love Madonna, but as we all know (and have seen in this thread) her fans really don't have a leg to stand on when they call out artists for "copying" her. I'm sure you could find many many songs that happen to use the same 4/5 notes in the same order that Madonna has at one point... She has a vast catalogue. Plus anyone who genuinely believes that Gaga would steal something from Madonna intentionally after the shitstorm that occurred in 2011/12 is completely delusional. There's no other word for it. Yes they carry out the last line of a phrase but so do a million other songs. Just because Gaga screams ILLLUSSSIOOONN and Madonna screams BABBBYYYYY doesnt mean that they are copied or sound remotely similar at all. I dont even think Born This Way & Express Yourself sound similar! Madonna fans are so annoying and rude. They're downright nasty. I hate her fans but love her. Also they call Gaga "Lady Ugly" which is so ****ing rude. I dont think anyone in this fanbase makes fun of another stars appearance. Just their singing abilities. And I don't think the constant ageist comments are much better. But the bitterness is certainly more prevalent in M's fanbase - although some people on here are coming close to it with Katy.
