Katy wasn't rumoured until October, and confirmed late November. She has plenty of time to plan this, especially considering how disciplined she was for the Sound of Music tribute for months ahead (all in secret I might add), let alone this which would be the biggest gig of her career thus far. This stuff would never be scheduled if it couldn't realistically be managed. She wouldn't sign off on major projects like a movie if it didn't fall in line with her album. She wouldn't.
