 i didn't mean to sound so aggressive, I just meant the statement in general for the thousands of threads that base off of "old and classic Gaga back". She was eccentric this year, she will be even more when she furthers herself into the era that was just started. and i'm loving your American Dad persona .

we will get crazy costume Gaga as soon as she sees the new image is not selling.... it's always the same with pop stars... they always want to be something different and they end up going back to what made them stars in the first place.

Madonna also tried going all rock and revolutionary, and ended up back in hotpants, bras and slutty costumes. Kylie ditched the indie persona when her album flopped and jumped into golden hotpants. They can't escape who they are because the audience does not accept fakery and wanting to be something they are not.

Gaga was successful with the Jazz era and the looks because that's a natural part of her, and it was real actual jazz / traditional pop, and the people immediately recognized it as a part of her.

She can't get away with rock because she's not a rock artist. Period. PI is a basic pop song disguised in a rock t-shirt. No amount of boots, shrill vocals, microphone waving can hide it. The audience can sense fakery from a mile away.

Her creativity and theatrics are not limited to sequins and heels. The crazy is in her voice and the passion in her face. That's what so many don't 'get'. Gaga isn't an outfit. Gaga is her core. You'd think her fans would understand her by now.
