The drums and clapping in the insturmental and in applause she had that weird accent in the verses same with Pi she has a deep rock voice . I mean, Perfect Illusion is mostly a rock song, while Scheiße is dance-pop. Having said that, I believe that neither Scheiße or DITD would work as lead singles. PI works just fine as the first taste from the album. It's a new sound for Gaga, so you can't compare Perfect Illusion to her previous music. It's like comparing her jazz covers with her pop tracks.
