Thomas P 18,377 Posted September 10, 2016 Share Posted September 10, 2016 A lot of you like to watch sales and streams, and where it peaks on charts (so do i), but what I watch, and what I want more than anything, is acclaim given by critics. On Wikipedia it says that PI received "General Acclaim", which is fine because as long as that second word is in there I'm good. It is Wikipedia though, so I'm not sure I can trust. Can someone tell me if with all of the critic reviews it's received so far, has PI received critical acclaim. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perfect_Illusion EDIT: Its received generally mixed reviews rn. Supersonic 49,376 Posted September 10, 2016 Share Posted September 10, 2016 The only outlets that criticized it were Pitchfork & The Guardian (The review from the Guardian was a mess though because the journalist is an obvious Britney Spears stan, criticized Gaga's vocal performance and lauded Britney's on Glory) Outlets that have reviewed positively were: New York Post NME LA Times Digital Spy All of those previously dragged Gaga. Generally favorable is more like it. some monsters on here yesterday were having a hard time making the distinction that there is a gray zone between "praised" and "dragged."
