Dj's aren't trying to make better versions, they are making their own version of the song, there is a distinct difference.

The drums are way too loud. Not to be rude, but this is unlistenable to me because of the drums. Thank you for this, though, many people wanted this.

Respectfully, she gives her work to us as art that we can then interpret to inspire our own creations. 

Essentially, no version is better than another. They are all beautiful in their own way.

Remixers everywhere are preparing to chop and skew and remix this wonderful new track -- and that's nothing more than a continuation of the whole art appreciation process

It's not specifically the remixing I have a problem with, it's the claiming that it's somehow better than the original that's tasteless and uncalled for.
