Don't mean to be rude, but it sounds like you are confused how the charts work. Songs are supposed to get red updates once the hype is done. Then radio, music videos, and promo kicks in and the GP will either latch onto it like Applause or let it flop like Rise. So don't make such a negative thread when it sounds like you don't know much about the charts because we have had enough negativity for a day!

flopping? LMAO, 3 million views in 20 hours, #1 in 70 countries, 550k streams on Spotify in 10 hours, trends and more trends, the critics LOVED IT.

These kids...

Come through with all the facts! :koons:

Also I would like a clear explanation as to why you believe a top 10 debut is a flop??

the highest female debut in the top 10 this year is #8. Lol

I don't think it's flopping. It's still going to be the biggest single release or second biggest by a female artist in 2016. Get a grip people lol.

Biggest US Female debuts of 2016:

174,000 Beyoncé - Formation (#10)

137,000 Katy Perry - Rise (#11)

126,000 Rihanna feat. Drake - Work (#9)

123,000 Calvin Harris & Rihanna - This Is What You Came For (#9)

123,000 Beyoncé - Hold Up (#13)

118,000 Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman (#10)

118,000 Beyoncé - Sorry (#11)

113,000 Meghan Trainor - No (#11)

Are those wolrdwide or only US sales?

Its true:reductive: Applause fell like a rock and then the video and VMAs saved it and radio eventually liked it. And Rise flopped:classy:
