I have one critique about Perfect Illusion that really puts me off....

I listened to Lemonade properly a few months back and my God the mixing is magical. If you get the chance with some good quality headphones, listen to Pray You Catch Me and Hold Up with your eyes closed, even if you don't like Beyoncé. The detail and precision is incredible. This is the standard Gaga should be DEMANDING.

Also After all this time... Seriously you think Gaga wants this? She wants the grunge... She wants the grit. Call it lazy. But I don't see all her haters out there being #1 in 60 countries?

My problem with Beyonce's album mostly. Its not hard to have a perfectly mastered album when there is barely instrumentals. Take that how you will.

Radio squishes the bejeezuz out of songs with compressors so they get the maximum playback volume all the time, and many mastering engineers are doing the same thing.  The problem is this has created a large number of people who expect everything to stay at an even volume level with little dynamics.

I can understand the overproduction of Born This Way but you can counter that problem by using really good speakers.

The verses sound just fine, it is the choruses which are too loud. You have to either choose between extremely loud choruses or 'okay chorus' but 'too quiet verses'.

I meant for me when I turn the volume all the way up the loudness of the chorus is just fine. There's not really an option for me

At the end of "perfect"—in "you were so perfect", you can hear a 'spit sound'. I agree, though. Those were intentional, amazing, vocals, but it was just something I noticed.

If anything it's too short. That's it. (Aslo the lyrics could be a tad better but oh well, i still like them.)
