I'm always happy to get new music. I don't care what it is. It could be a grocery list. If she's singing it, I will love and support it.

It's always around me, all this noise, but not really as loud as the voice saying "Let it happen, let it happen."

The best pop songs are repetitive. I will stan her till the day I die.

I can't stand the term"stan" or stanning. We're all here to enjoy the music and the persona that is Gaga. She is the only other artist besides Madonna(sorry, I know that's a dirty word in here lol) that will always peak my interest when something new is released.

Its definitely a different Gaga that we all have become accustomed to. But change is good. I remember when she said ARTPOP is the end of the beginning of her career.  That statement definitely makes sense to me. SHes in a different place now. We've all grown up and so has she. While I have a lot of nostalgia for 2008-2011 Gaga, Ive accepted this is the direction she is going. I think PI is a great song and its easily digestible for the GP which is good. She's not in her imperial phase anymore and that phase doesnt last long forever either way. I think once you get over that fact and stop setting the bar so impossibly high, you come to accept her as a very good pop star in the end. One thing though, she is talented and will stand the time. Just enjoy the ride. You don't have to be a stan to appreciate Gaga. She still pushes the envelope because PI doesnt sound like anything thats popular rn and that should definitely be appreciated with all the copy and paste in the industry.

All in all, im not gonna sugar coat it. I think she's peaked with Bad Romance and TFM. Now I'm not saying she won't ever have a massive hit again but its safe to say as of right now, that is her Thriller and Like a virgin

The only stanning I care about is Stanning Baratheus, and he's

dead, via a Valyrian steel sword up his butt from this thread

Let's move on ladies, stanning is the whole reason why you get bitter and resentful when things don't turn out the way you wanted them. Just enjoy the music and the era, ay???

Yes, for me it was worthy to wait 3 years. The song is everything I did want from her atm. She delivers. But I understand you @Britney Spears, I'm glad that I love the song and don't have any meltdown

This conflict isn't going to resolve anything guys!! The question of "Is Gaga worth stanning for 2016?" shows that the person needs us to support them in whatever choices they decide and not guilt-trip them!! If you want to defend Gaga for whatever reason, I suggest instead of attacking the one confused individual, "grow up" and ask why? and see how we can help those that has lost hope to find the reason why they stanned for Gaga in the first place and encourage them the stay a little longer. Tbh, the only way to support Gaga is to keep her fandom harmoniously together and be there for one another!! NOT threatening and continuously attacking one another!!

Please treat one another's opinion with respect just like how you would to them face-to-face. I know it can be frustrating to see either some leave or reminiscing the past or new fans joining or some want to see Gaga do her thing (depending on what your position is), but we are talking masses of people on GGD! Attacking individuals is not the way to go. Who cares if some loved her past stuff more than the recent or visa versa. But because it is evident that there are more attacks made against the ones who liked her old music, I'm gonna say this, that it's also important for fans to like her old stuff because it's what Gaga herself did start from and it is her work. Some of you are criticising it as well.

Just remember, who are you to dictate and judge what others like honestly, especially in this fandom!  xx

Tbh, I think the OP stated what a large portion of us have thought but don't want to admit.

Personally, I feel Gaga fans have deluded themselves into thinking the song is better than it actually is. She had 3 of the biggest producers in music. It could have and should have been MILES better. I don't understand how they were ok with this being the final product.

I still love Gaga and I'll stick around, always. But I'm kind of done having any expectations with her.

I'll never be stan of Gaga. Only a fan. I do not connect with stans of any artist to that level, so I call myself a fan. I will always be a fan of Lady Gaga.

She worth it to me. She is an artist and that is what she gives to me right now as a fan.

And all these nonsense she is being devolving. Please.. :sharon:

If anything she takes risks, she is actually evolving, she takes it few notches up. I just find it funny, that some of y'all are the same folks who's been saying this thing for over and over ("I love gaga cos she takes riak, when will Katy?!") but got a lump in your throat when she actually takes a big leap and left behind what she was known for and want to keep her dumbed down and doing the same thing over and over.

Let me tell you, if you want her to keep doing 2009, that ain't happening, she might give you hints of that taste here and there but won't be fully so, and if you want her to actually taking risks she is doing it now, and by the look of it, I don't see her stopping anytime soon, so your choice tbh. She is redefining her image since C2C, and Oscars performance, and so on, if you haven't notice.

Look at some of her collaborators for this new album; Mark Ronson, Florence Welch, Beck, Father John Misty.., any of those seems going to do Bad Romance to you?! No. She is pursuing to become someone new as an artist, and this is her vision for new album. She is in different place now, somewhere that some of you yet reach, or might never ever be.

If you don't care for the song, that's your personal opinion, but you should speak for yourself, not for others.

God this song is so perfect.

The song is literally about you. You don't even like Gaga, and Gaga knows it, and that's what this song is about.

Could it get any better?

This. This. This.

If you have to ask, then don't even waste your time. Go do something more "worth" your time.

Gaga has never been a popstar, and some of us recognized this early on and EXPECTED this rock-ga, it's why BTW is so loved by our fanbase, it scratches the surface of rock-ga.

That's all any of us are, "stan" is just a term used too heavily. If you're stalking her through a town, or reconstruting your life around when she tweets, you're a stan. I'm not a stan, and I bet a large chunk of her fans aren't stans, we just stay up to date :emma:
