So what's your initial impression, I'd say a 6/10 from me, it's just an ok song, I don't see anything groundbreaking in it sonically or lyrically and vocally it's nothing new, we always knew Gaga had those chops. I have a feeling I'm gonna change my mind after the music video, live performances and more listens but If I do change my mind, it's gonna be me saying that the song is GOOD but i don't think i'll ever view it as amazing or groundbreaking. Anyways I am so hyped for what's next and excited for Gaga to explore new territories, I kinda get what she was going for, that punk rock disco vibe but there are songs with that sound that are better. I also have this gut feeling that Perfect Illusion is actually one of the last songs they worked on and that it got chosen over many initial options as the lead, just cause Gaga had a connection to it, you know our Gaga lol.

BUY it on iTunes (I already did) and Stream it, there's a great chance for it to reach number 1 on Billboard, the competition isn't as tough as it was during Applause, so get to work.

I give it 9 ... It's to early to judge coz we're all buzzed but it's defenitely a VERY FANTASTIC SONG! Exactly my taste <3

And to be honest for me it may be her best song so far because it's simply and kinda ... REAL.
