    • Yes, the GP is over her pretentiousness.

    • No, the GP is interested in the eccentricities.

    • No, because what does a song title have to do with how the song sounds. They will hear the song before its title and will love it.

This is Lady Gaga's big comeback to pop culture! I think after a long break. It will be nostalgic for the public, and also refreshing, and it will be good music, which should be respected, looks a bit rocky, it seems different which should work well for gaga and her brand! The sky is the limit for Lady Gaga.

Lovely anology

The Gp don't care about titles lol

If the song is good to dance to, good to get high to, good to club to, good to have sex to, that's what the mindless GP think of, their not music lovers at heart, they just use music to enhance their activities and get in the mood shall I say.

Y'all be lying when you say that the GP wouldn't roll their eyes at title.

the GP roll their eyes at her breathing. it doesnt really mean anything more than the fact that theyve conditioned themselves to think of everything she does as try-hard. if the song does well enough that wont matter, people thought she was pretentious at her peak too. but they also loved the fame+monster so it didnt matter.

that being said, perfect illusion is not even pretentious. like what. compared to ARTPOP? please. this thread youve made is more pretentious than the title.

Um, how so? This thread presents a reasonable question. I'm not acting like this is something the GP won't think or say. There are people out there that won't have time for her shenanigans and when they hear that title, they'd roll their eyes even more.

What shenanigans? There are no shenanigans. If anyone rolls their eyes at this title is says more about them and their bias than anything about the title itself. Do you not get that?

In the GP's eyes, Gaga was particularly know amongst certain groups of the general public for her gimmicks and tactics. How can you not see them as such? Even me, as a stan, can call a spade a spade.

People have judgements. People have biases. They roll their eyes. All that is true, but they are also part of the general public. The general public makes judgements and that, in part, affects their feeling towards the song. The truth of it all is that not everybody loves Gaga. I don't see how you don't get that?

What does that have to do with this song title? You're projecting your own cynical nonsense on two words in the english language. I have not heard a single person refer to this title as pretentious besides you. Not here or anywhere. You're creating this dialogue yourself.

And as for the GP's perceptions obviously I get that? Its more than common knowledge that not everyone likes gaga nor is that even relevant to anything im saying to you. Like this thread is so odd. Its based on nothing. And the majority of your posts on this forum wreak of borderline bored trolling and self-loathing gaga appreciation.

Sis, get a grip. You're clearly turning up for a mere question I'd thought I'd ask after sharing to my friends and co-workers about the news of her new single and their reactions towards it. I'd also thought I'd ask this question to possibly start a conversation about the GP's current thoughts on her post-ARTPOP (when she got the most flak from the GP), but clearly that's out the window now since it is started to turn into a personal attack.

But anyways, I personally can't wait for PI's drop tonite. It's going to be turnt. :firega:

Yeah, the title is kind of corny tbh.

But if the song is good enough, the title shouldn't matter. It's not that bad.
