There definitely would have been more tweaks; the song as is doesn't sound Gaga at all. The harmonies in the final chorus are atrocious, the bridge is bad, the lyrics are to some degree elementary (all perfect rhymes with 'illusion' instead of the off-rhymes Gaga often employs) and sometimes don't make sense (looked like Fred Astaire? Yes, that was a C2C thing but Fred Astaire was a dancer, not a looker). Even the verses are the same as the chorus in melody.

The hook is also, like I've mentioned in a few other threads, reductive of Money Honey.

Idk why there are so many haters on this forum when it comes to the fake Perfect Illusion? I think it's incredibly creative to write a produce a pop song, in gaga's style, but what do I know.

I'm really starting to question a lot of members taste in music if they really think that fake track is good. I mean to go as far as to say it belongs on the Fame Monster.  It's a good laugh but that's about it.
