Kendrick Lamar and Gaga

Anyone else find it rude how he declined to work with Gaga and is now working with all these mainstream artists?

He worked with Robin Thicke, Taylor Swift and now Sia with her new single, yet refused to work with Gaga because her image was too 'gay' friendly for him. What a **** move, I hope his new single with Sia flops and Perfect Illusion blocks iT.

He's happy to weaponise other certain political issues in his music, but when it comes to collaborating with a gay friendly artist it's not something he's willing to do.

He did work woth Gaga. She didn't like the song and how it turned out. He replaced her. B**** don't kill my vibe feat. Gaga leaked ages ago. It's was her choice, not his.

I'm pretty sure it was the typical Gaga collab curse that happened. She didn't like that she didn't have enough control over the finished product, so she axed it. It's what she's done with most collabs.

I'm still disappointed. Her version of Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe is one of my favorite things ever.

It's different though. These new songs are not going to be on HIS album, like partynauseous was supposed to be.

It was implied. They didn't collaborate because of an issue they had with his record label not liking the track, and splitting on 'creative differences' (which usually means something bigger happened behind the scenes, I mean just look at her split with Troy).

Also I remember Gaga talked about how the rappers on Jewels N Drugs were brave for collaborating with a gay friendly artist because other rappers wouldn't do that, and she said it in a way almost as if she was taking a dig at Kendrick.

Was he the one that actually made that decision or was it their record labels. If he didn't like her or didn't want to work with her he wouldn't have wasted his time in the first place. **** happens that is out of the artist control. Bye.

I thought it was timing that prevented them from collaborating

"We had a date, but we had to meet the deadline for the pre-order date. That’s just the business side coming through and messing things up. But you know it's God's plan. I'm not really too tight about it because I know we have something special."

It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. - Audre Lorde

Wasn't that Interscope?, they didn't let him collab with Gaga, no?

Chris Evans

the original "kpop" type version didn't flow with the rest of his album so his camp produced a different version of it (the one that leaked) but Gaga didn't like it so it was never released

Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe was the only one that could've happened but they didn't finish it in time

Gaga's version is the one she played at the artRave
