Just want your sex (want your sex)

- She just wants the truth.
Take a bite of my bad girl meat (bad girl meat) Take a bite of me
Show me your teeth

- Show me your mean side.
Let me see your mean
Got no direction (no direction) I need direction

- Gaga has no direction in life, she does not know where to go.
Just got my vamp (got my vamp) Uh Uh

- Vamp: Someone who is sexy, but also Vampire. which goes with the common theme of teeth.
Take a bite of my bad girl meat (bad girl meat)Take a bite of me boy
Show me your teeth
The truth is sexy

- The truth is what she desires most and what turns her on.

[Pre-Hook]

Tell me something that’ll save me
I need a man who makes me alright (man who makes me alright)
Just tell me when it’s alright
Tell me something that’ll change me
I’m going to love you with my hands tied

 - Gaga needs a man who tells her the truth and saves her from being delusional. She needs him to save her.

[Hook]
Show me your teeth, just tell me when
Show me your teeth, open your mouth boy

 - He should not be shy and open his mouth and tell the truth.
Show me your teeth, show me what you got
Show me your teeth, teeth, teeth, teeth

[Verse 2]
Got no salvation (no salvation) Got no salvation
Got no religion (no religion) My religion is you
Take a bite of my bad girl meat (bad girl meat) Take a bite of me boy
Show me your teeth
I’m a tough bitch

- She is a though woman and can handle the truth, just tell her.
Got my addictions (my addictions)
And I love to fix ‘em (and I love to fix ‘em) No one’s perfect
Take a bite of my bad girl meat (bad girl meat) I am not a bad woman
Show me your teeth
I just need a little guidance

Help need a man
Now show me your fangs (my religion is you) 8x

 - Her man is her salvation and religion. The only one who knows to guide her from the pain of life and addiction.

[Bridge]
Show me your teeth, It’s not how big, it’s how mean
It’s not how big, it’s how mean

 - Play on words, refering to the man's package, but also his teeth, but really meaning the truth.

“Teeth” represents the Fear of Truth Monster from the series of 8 new songs in Lady Gaga’s re-release of The Fame.

In an interview with MTV News, Gaga revealed more about the song’s context:

It is meant to mean two things: the first one kind of juvenile sexual provocative connotation is about oral sex, but also the monster in the song is fear of the truth. “Show me your teeth” means “tell me the truth” and I think that for a long time in my life that I replaced sex with the truth.

The common theme of Teeth, Fangs, Bite, Vamp are very related to Vampires. The cover of Fame Monster reminds me of Dracula. The cross in "MonsTer" are meant to exorcise vampires, her Truth Monster. Remember that Gaga played organs during BTW, too. One of which is Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor", which is commonly connected to Vampires/Dracula.

I think Teeth is very underrated, It's one of my favorites on The Fame Monster.

I wonder if GaGa ever sang Teeth while choking on Taylor's salami :flutter:

She was not in a relationship with Taylor at that time, tho.
