I think she is trying to go Beyonce route, no big promo, not caring about singles and sell albums, just perform at the most important places, be respected etc

Good luck with that :air:

(It's not me who cares, it's those who flip the **** out about Australia participating while forgetting that loads of other non-european-countries participated, because it really is about being part of the EBU. I just doubt she'll be seen as an italian singer coming to Eurovision...)

Doesn't matter, people will still buy and stream the song. The JT song went #1 for months all across Europe with a lacklustre performance. A Eurovision performance guarantees top 5 in every single European country and either top 3 on iTunes in every European country. It will also open her up to different audiences like families, East-Europeans, older gays, migrants and teenagers.

Eurovision is so far away. Ema doesnt do anything anymore and the Mtv Influence is smaller and smaller. Talent shows and some local award shows like Nrj awards remains best for Europe.

Exactly. You've only got smaller shows in Europe, which, combined, might have the same impact as a single Eurovision performance. The Eurovision finale is viewed more than The Voice or X Factor finales in most individual countries. And the demographics are PERFECT for Gaga (gays, teenagers and women).
