That's almost twice the views the VMAs got and slightly more then the AMAs last year got. If she gives a killer performance there, it'd definitely be great for Perfect Illusion, especially if she performs the first day of the finale because she'll have 2 full says of the tracking week left to sell off the performance first week.

No thank you. This isn't a place for A-listers to premiere new music. Usually the performers are either flop singers or past winners from the show. Gaga is bigger and better than this.

well the single needs a good plataform to be promoted this month, btw it's the last month in grammy elegiblility so Perfect Illusion needs to be a hit before Mid Oct, aka the day that people send the submissions

I think it's a cheap show. It's so repetitive and it's made for the lowest common denominator. There is 29 minutes of commercials, back story, and judging for every minute of actual performance. And every performance is either someone doing a cover of a song, an animal doing tricks, or children being exploited. As Gaga would say it's "cheap applause".
