Barbra said she had been happy to hear the news of the newest incarnation, saying, “I feel great about it because I know 'A Star Is Born' will work; it works every time... I'm an actress only for the 2nd time and I can believe that I'm doing it, thank you, thank you. And Barbra sent me an email yesterday and she sent her blessing, amen jesus. But she's going to need some acting classes. She was good in AHS but the role was basically written around her capabilities. Even then she still had a few inconsistent moments. But it seems like it won't happen. I want this movie to happen so bad, and there's still more than a year of wait. Like, can we just skip AHS? Anyone? I know, you're being sarcastic, but you're not that far from the truth. I went to see Babs in Toronto last week, and she spoke about "A star is born" during the show. She had a picture of her and Kris Kristofferson up from her version, and she gave her stamp of approval to the newest remake with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper.
