This thread reminds me with the time when I lived in Asia. There are no YouTube that time and torrent download (Napster, Kazaa, and Limewire) were just started to becoming a thing. Had to have dish at home because local channels don't air all those stuffs. And used to skipped school for big events like Grammy because it was always aired around 7-10 AM since not many have such dish since it was quite expensive that time, and I always have to talked with the same people at school about it the next day while the rest of classmates don't have any idea what were we so excited about lmao

In a way it was nice quality time too, I skipped school and watch Superbowl, VMA, Grammy or Oscars with my family in our living room each year lel

As for concerts, it was never an issue, I have traveled for it since I was a toddler (Michael Jackson concerts in Japan) so never take it as burden since very accostumed to it.

I mean, I'm European but I live in Sardinia (Italy). Sardinia is one of the 2 big islands in Italy (the other one is Sicily). So even if Gaga usually does a tour date in Milan it's pretty hard to see her live if you live here. I have to pay for the concert ticket (at least 100€), flights (at least 100 euros in total) and a hotel/hostel (and Milan is pretty expensive trust me).And that's why I only saw her live once in Perugia for the C2C Ball. Also being european is already hard considering just the fact that every freaking award ceremony starts at 2 am here and it's usually in the night between a sunday and a monday. Do I have to mention the language barriers too?

Thank god I live in Turin :rip: My thoughts go to y'all Sardinian monsters everytime there's a Gaga concert :diane:

I never have to worry about Gaga not coming to Sweden. She has always been here and if it ever happens in the future that she for some reason is not coming to Sweden I could just take a 3 hours train to Denmark or Norway.

I was just about to say this. I've seen all of her tours here in Sweden.

we are honoured by your concern.

amidst social inequality, the fight against US' and Europe's cultural and economic imperialism, against LGBTQ violence, the genocide of the poor black youth by the police, and sexism, not being sure if Gaga will make a concert around here is what makes life hard.

It's even harder for us Eastern Europeans. She came here once in 2012 and I am 100% positive she will never come back 😑 oh well. I guess distance won't be a problem in the near future when I'll be rich and I will be able to stalk her all around Europe :sis:

It's hard to be European sometimes :neyde:

She's been in Bulgaria only once and comes to maximum 2 countries nearby when she's on tour and not everyone can afford to go to a concert in another country.

one of the biggest issues for me is that I can't pitch towards us sales , as I do want her to chart well in my country but mostly the us as it's probably the biggest part in the world for the music industry
