remember that Perfect illusion is about the highest of highs and lowest of lows in a relationship gone wrong.

what if it is about Taylor, and she decided to use Yüyi as her alter ego to visualize PI's music video.

in Yoü and I, it portrays the love and affliction of the two, in Perfect illusion, it may implicitly continue the story of yüyi in a relationship gone wrong. showing her struggles in love.

there is a correlation between the characters and in real life, despite yoü and I being about Lüc, not Taylor.

in a sense that the male character "lüc" in Yoü and I, portrayed by Taylor, would come alive and hence it is a perfect illusion.

maybe in PI's music video, the male character would represent taylor

PS: i know that they are on break, but the song could just represent the highs and lows of being in a difficult relationship ( either it is time managing or personal life issues) and i know it is reaching, but it is interesting to see how all correlates
