I disagree. I think her biggest transformation was from ARTPOP > C2C. One second she was gyrating on a mechanical bull while being thrown up on and screaming to a loud EDM track, literally four months later she was cuddling up to sweet old legendary crooner Tony Bennett as the wholesome Italian New York girl who had been "singing jazz since she was 13, don't you know?". That kinda transformation was far more sudden than the way she's evolved from Cheek To Cheek almost two years ago to now.

I understand why fans may be a little sceptical about how she is now, and it's natural that fans won't like every little thing that she does since she changes so often. This is only really the second time we've been "in between eras" for an extended amount of times, after the wait for ARTPOP. The way she was in 2012 and early 2013 isn't anything like her AP persona. Plus we've still had glimpses of "traditional" Gaga with the V shoot, Met Ball outfit and Intel/Bowie performance and promos which would indicate she hasn't ditched all of that. She's possibly just more comfortable to go out day-to-day dressing more "normal".

I think it's too late to judge what she'll be like with LG5. It's still a valid discussion though because she definitely seems different now, so who knows what she will be like?

Yeah I'm 99% sure she will return to this. I'm just mentioning this from constant years of her saying she dresses the way she dresses all the time. When the cameras are on and when they're off, she's not putting on a character, but she dresses the way she does because it's the person she is. In this aspect, she's changed, that's all I meant.

We'll have to wait and see if she delivers I guess. Hopefully the "sleeping Gaga" hasn't drowned somewhere with AP2, DWUW vid and all the other things she promised and never delivered.

I wasn't talking about musically though which is what I thought you meant at first. 

She's said many times for YEARS she's always wanted to be a Pop/Rock star never heard her say a Jazz Icon. She's an artist through and through. She's not returning to "Pop" music, generic bubble gum has never been Gaga, ever. 

To say returning to Pop seems forced is as if your saying she's a MANiCUREd/manufactured artist and I just don't agree with that. 

I thought you meant you miss the TFM or BTW Gaga (her interviews,opinions,reactions) and to that I still say she's growing.

Not necessarily a lie. You can transform yourself while sharing the same values & principles. Maybe she realized that with Jazz that she can be a Lady as well while still having "the freak" inside you. I think the whole path she went after ARTPOP era was an intention to show GP that she can do other than just being what the GP thought she was. And during that journey she obviously discovered new sides of her that she probably wants to show us now with LG5. Idk what story she's going to tell but I believe the whole transformation after ARTPOP will be a part of the story.
