FATCAT 60,038
If she makes another "Bad Blood" song, people may see through it and crucify her. But if she stays off the topic, and just comes out with "shake it off" stuff, people will bop and that's the end of it. Okay, Adele is still bland. Proof the gp has no taste.

PaperIz 7,346
I think she'll do well but as well. But people are definitely upset at her. I still love my dear Snakelor Human generated art

If Britney's record was useless, so is Adele's it took what, 16 years for someone to beat it? I don't think that qualifies as useless Human generated art
Stephen 30,423
I don't think she'll be as successful as she was with 1989, but she'll still be a force. She has too many fans not to be. However, it may be hard to win back the general public opinion. The consensus among young people (who aren't swifties) seems to be anti-taylor. It's ironic that Shake it Off was her lead last time when now seems more fitting. She's disliked more than ever
StrawberryBlond 14,842
She'll definitely suffer, I'm sure. There will be no more 1 million opening week. She might get one #1 tops, although if she keeps up with the anti-streaming thing, she'll have more difficulty. By the sounds of things, she's going to take her biggest ever break (she'd normally have the lead single to her new album out by now), so we don't know how she's going to fare after an uncharacteristically long break. This backlash against her was the first proper backlash and the public will not forget it. Her good girl image is gone now and it's not coming back. The public tends to be harsher when females mess up as opposed to males, so I don't think she'll have a chance of coming back stronger than ever, post-scandal, like Bieber did. And when she does return, she can't have songs about petty squabbles and vicious songs about exes. She's got a really negative perception against her because of all that stuff right now. But, naturally, that's the stuff she'll want to write about. She's had a bad break up with Calvin and she's ready to go to war with Kim and Kanye, cue poison pen letter songs about these two issues. But that will just make her look bad. She needs to either rise above all that stuff or deal with the situations in songs in a mature way. But the girl just. never. learns. Runway 27,876
Yes, after 10 years of no flop and increasing success her decline is only natural. After the peak there comes the fall
Spock 20,290
I think she'll have a Speak Now sized era, which was smaller compared to Fearless, but with the million opening week and a hit single who will love me when the night is over
Brian Ryan 1,468
I want Taylor Swift sales to decline... I wish you guys would just have the balls to name the threads how you really feel tbh cut the sh!t Anyway, she just keeps getting better cause she promotes well and comes out with hot jams. I can see yet another 1 million sales. I love papa johns with a Taylor Swift CD on the side.

androiduser 7,438
contrary to fan theories, wishful thinking and justifications, the success of an era depends on the first major single off an album. ALL under-performing albums/eras started with the wrong first single
