In this thread what got me shook was this

"....Tame Impala has a huge fan base..."

Because I thought they were indie or something nnnn

my comment was based on the fact that their last album Currents did amazingly well on the charts. They have impressive YT numbers too.not that indie :poot: .

plus, they're from Australia and Currents went #1 there :poot:

Wait I found it. Π is refered as Pi in English (that's they way the greek letter Π is pronounced)

The funny thing is that I'm Greek so I've never seen it as the Pi symbolism since I know how to read the letter so I couldn't recognise it, mess. :emma:

glad you finally got it :air:

I read tens of these stories before ARTPOP.. not that meaningful tbh.

I really hope she wins teen girls back this era... it feels like Gaga is for gays and 'weird' people (you know, those girls with black lipstick people).. I wish she became more respected amongst teen girls again but it's going to be difficult because urban/R&B is now the 'cool' thing.

As to winning back the GP: yes, she's convinced the fathers and mothers of teenagers, but actual teenagers probably only cared for AHS. I think AHS was a success, some girl from my school posted a Gaga pic on her insta, and another has 'jawline for days' as her bio.

Completely agree! I think if she does loads of shows that'll appeal to a younger audience that will help but yeah, they're definitely the most stubborn and hardest demographic to crack because teenagers are often sheep that all follow each other.

On the bright side, at least it's the mums and dads that actually purchase albums :lolga:
