Oh, you're from the UK. The US population is a lot less informed when it comes to artists albums vs. their singles.

That must be so frustrating! :madge:

It is what it is. Most people just group the popular songs together like a time scale. It's probably why Greatest Hits albums are so popular here.

If anything, the BTW era alienated the GP, and AP's "underselling" was the result of it.

You should always search for reasons of success (or lack off) in the previous campaign, whether it's an album campaign or damage-control campaign we just finished having. If she really won the GP back with her redemption campaign of 2014-2016, we are up to a great next era from the very start.

Tbh I've noticed attitudes among people my age (21) towards Gaga change significantly! During the ARTPOP era she became 'annoying', 'overexposed' and 'too much' for some people I know but literally in the 3 years that she's been absent from the pop charts people are talking about her in a much more positive manner, like about how 'hot and beautiful' she is and 'how well she can really sing' and that music without her atm is 'boring'. So I definitely think there's the potential for her to smash this era with the GP but it'd have to be completely smooth sailing I think in order for her to win now and with LG6 in the future :woohoo:

I read tens of these stories before ARTPOP.. not that meaningful tbh.

I really hope she wins teen girls back this era... it feels like Gaga is for gays and 'weird' people (you know, those girls with black lipstick people).. I wish she became more respected amongst teen girls again but it's going to be difficult because urban/R&B is now the 'cool' thing.

As to winning back the GP: yes, she's convinced the fathers and mothers of teenagers, but actual teenagers probably only cared for AHS. I think AHS was a success, some girl from my school posted a Gaga pic on her insta, and another has 'jawline for days' as her bio.

In this thread what got me shook was this

"....Tame Impala has a huge fan base..."

Because I thought they were indie or something nnnn

But btw, did u guys see one thing? I really think that, checking artRAVE line pics and stuff overral... It seems like we had more girls around on ARTPOP. For real, I can't explain but I have this feeling that we had more girls than ever in the fan base so it wasn't a total loss???

You're not alone.:neyde:

Wait I found it. Π is refered as Pi in English (that's they way the greek letter Π is pronounced)

The funny thing is that I'm Greek so I've never seen it as the Pi symbolism since I know how to read the letter so I couldn't recognise it, mess. :emma:
