At this point, are the AMAs and EMAs confirmed?

Oh, yeah, the song will promote itself :neyde:

Do you guys realize that she has to milk out the promotion? :neyde:

She's not a newbie. If the GP is here for her, she could spend 666 weeks at #1 without major promo.

Inb4 the new revolutionary way of releasing music is by doing zero promo

Britney has already done this lol

Also I still don't get why Gaga would skip the VMAs and release a single like two weeks after it.

Why not?

Because back in 2009 she was nominated for Best breakthrough artist... They gave it to Gloriana (who?)

Aside from PI, when was anything ever really confirmed on this site :toofunny:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

she was promoting bad romance october-january

Well bad romance was huge so if PI is as close of the success as BR then she better perform and promote

If it only reaches the applause status then she can release a 2nd single in late Oct early Nov

Because it's bad for her image.

1. She's above that. She's now got the image that she visits Oscars, GRAMMYs and EMMYs rather than VMAs, IKEA and launching songs on Farmville.

2. She can't have it that she's overshadowed. Press being disappointed and talking about how she doesn't have it anymore could ruin the momentum right from the start.

The EMAs aren't a good promo spot. I remember back in 2013 I was having continuous meltdowns over her not performing but doing the artRAVE launch (on the release week of the album!), but us chart monsters soon noticed that none of the songs performed actually moved up on iTunes.

Doesn't mean I don't want her to perform tho, because the EMAs will be hosted where I live (Rotterdam). I wonder if I can snatch a ticket and perhaps see Gaga perform

I am almost certain she can promote her new single on other shows. Almost.

The EMA's is sort of becoming a nonevent already tbh:awkney:

Although I'm here for an AMA performance of the 2nd single, AMA's is more exciting than Grammys lately:koons:

She'd probably save the EMAs if there would be just rumors of her performing there :neyde:

Queen of doing nothing and still saving someone :neyde:

Yet she'd have to travel all the way to Europe in album release month (maybe even week) for a non-event while she could be doing actual promo in the UK, Japan or the US. There's a reason they skipped it in 2013, and why they will probably do that again this year.
