BuzzcutSeason 3,307 Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 So i was thinking, if she really wanted to build a lotta hype then she would've said "Perfect Illusion September 16th" and then done some sort of campaign day by day or week by week. SOMETHING (maybe not that). So what i'm wondering now is...what if she doesn't give us a date at all and surprise releases it randomly in September (by randomly i mean one of the friday's just not telling us)? This announcement may have been made just to make us think of dates, and to avoid any radio stations/industry people from leaking it before she said something. Announcing a single a month in advance is already too traditional in and of itself so trying to hype it more in the lead-up would be overkill. She can blow the ****ing place off with her vocals like she did at oscars and super bowl her preformance would get great views after all I heart radio said( it was an award winning performance) and a lot of people will see it, and maybe she can steal the night with her vocals because gimmicks and theatrics don't work anymore for her this will create great hype for the new record. And she can release PI the dance anthem with Apple Music in September . And do lose of promo . Perform the lead at the AMAS and then album out in November or December in time for the holidays so it will be a speechlessX bad romance scenario !! because Gaga performed speechless more than bad romance , because that song was so good it needed no promo . It just keeps us on our toes about when it could possibly be released. Not only that, but it's probably best for Gaga and her management too. Saying "September" is vague, and I'm sure they purposefully did that so that they could be flexible with the era.
