Is Gaga bigger in the US or UK?

US, whenever I visit, I hear Gaga on the radio AT LEAST once, never hear her in the uk unless brand new music is released, and even then it's not played often

On Free Radio and Heart FM they play gaga a few times daily. They only play Just Dance, Paparazzi, Poker Face, Bad Romance,Telephone or The Edge of glory tho which is sad. When I went to USA they didn't play her for the whole month I was there.

I remember when i first heard Judas on Capital Fm here, and that's when I became a fan because I was thinking wow this is such a bombastic controversial song I love it. Only gaga could get this on the radio because of how popular she was she was everything. We were obsessed on a much bigger scale than Americans were with her. But BTW despite selling well here that was just down to her riding high off the fame and the fame monster and remix album success. Even Chillin with wale was a hit here peaking top 11! DWUW was an unofficial number 1 however due to chart rules pushing it out of the charts meaning it had to debut after ARTPOP was released. So Dwuw was a big success here.

I'll say US. The single from the ARTPOP era had decent peaks in the UK but fell VERY fast. When on the US Applause was on the top 10 for 3 months and DWUW was on the top 20 for a long time too

2009-2011 Gaga was a phenomenon both in the UK and the US, Gaga was the first female to get 3 number 1s in the same year in the UK with Just Dance, Poker Face and Bad Romance which all sold close or over a million each, which is a HUGE achievement as there are only about 20 songs to have sold that in the last 20 years here. However after Judas things went downhill with her popularity here, TEOG half salvaged that but then UK doesn't normally like country style music so You and I suffer d and MTN hardly charted even though she absolutely SLAYED on X Factor and EMAs within a week of each other. I still don't understand how the public didn't catch on to how fantastic those performances where in tandem with how great the song was, everyone was focusing on Rihanna's We Found Love... 

Applause did ok but the promo and image was all over the place so apart from ARTPOP going number 1 first week, the era wasn't well received here and GUY sold like 500 copies 😩 

I just hope Bobby manages this era much more efficiently, play her cards right and she could be storming the charts again.

DWUW was a number 1 here unofficially, it charted 6 weeks after release because of our stupid chart rules so it eventually debuted at 9. I understand you though, Gaga was over in 2013 here it pains me to say, applause barely got any radio play because of its odd sound. DWUW was a big success but people didn't think it was Gaga and there was no video so it was messy. The BTW era underperformed here except for the Edge of glory which did very well. Poker Face spent over 90 in our charts and bad romance 82 I think. So applause charting for only 23 weeks was very poor she fell so much. But we were obsessed wth her more than any other country in the world in. 2010. She was on the radio at least once an hour.
