About damn time, political queen. :diane:

I think sometimes she's afraid of the backlash that may cause her statements on politics or "taking sides" (apart from the LGBT community and Hillary2016) and she thinks twice before posting about those subjects, but I'm glad she's slowly speaking out.

I'm glad she's voicing her support for Syria, and for other sociopolitical issues as well (BLM)

Generally, the only thing I don't like about this (or maybe Western society), is the need for traumatic photographs/videos to go viral, particularly of children (both deceased and alive) before people start to care/talk about what's going on in a particular part of the world. I'm glad it's being talked about

I agree that the cameras following him during this tragedy were disgusting, but honesty this video moved me. So much in the world happens that I see a bombing or a shooting and think "just another day." And move on. This will stick with me. I'm still choked up. Maybe this is what we need to open the eyes of the people like me who read headlines like "Bombing in Syria" and are now numb to the shock.

It's about time more global attention has been given to Syria and what's happening in it. And I couldn't be prouder that Gaga herself is speaking about this as well. I hope that those five years of brutal war that has hit my country end as soon as possible and may peace prevail again.
