By claiming that she has always intended to donate the money to charity she is admitting to having manipulated the entire rational beyond the division of property clause in a divorce settlement (to support the lifestyle she had become accustomed to) which is a little shady. Why is she entitled to his money, whether she is keeping it or giving it away? Whether she is doing it as a response to being publicly perceived as a gold digger or out of the kindness of her heart it's still a little..off.

Good for her, but I wouldn't be doing the same thing if I were in her shoes.

Some of y'all are falling for good acting.  

If she was really in danger, fearing for her life and asking restraining order, she wouldn't settle and release THAT statement together with him.

Why would you want your abuser to go unpunished after getting all the dirty laundry out in the public, like secretly filming someone (who btw doesn't even look like him), which is suppose to show to the world his violent nature?

I wonder what charity she donated to? Cancer, domestic abuse, food? Just curious to see which causes she support. Whichever charity is it, $7 million is very generous.

Heard added in her statement on Tuesday that the donation will be divided amongst a number of charities but with “a particular focus to stop violence against women” as well as the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where Heard has worked as a volunteer for the past 10 years.
