It's simple and easy to comprehend – the important information is there in nice clear font, the title, the month – but eye-catching and kinda trippy at the same time. It's devoid of any imagery and style or overt personality right now, because Gaga clearly wants to hold that back for the right moment. She was painting her face a lot and was tweeting lyrics regularly. I miss those days but I think the reason why she's doing this is because she doesn't want to make the same mistake as she did with ARTPOP. If you look back at her Fame Monster/Born This Way eras she just announced them and that was that. There's always going to be elements you don't enjoy (like font on the cover, the cover itself, the way she performed, anything really). Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
