Do NOT compare Ronson's previous work to Perfect Illusion

People (and websites) are already comparing Perfect Illusion to Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker's Daffodils (which is a great song by the way).

That's literally like comparing a bland generic RedOne song to Bad Romance, just because they share the same co-producer(s), doesn't mean they will sound alike.

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

Pay attention to quality and technique. That's what's important here. Gaga always sounds different when she's working with her producers versus their other work. Spot on OP.

Back To Black (Amy Winehouse) and Record Collection (Ronson Album) sounds so different they sound like it came from different producers.

Exactly.

But Daffodils is amazing!

I'm just gonna have the mindset that we are gonna be surprised next month. This is so exciting.

Exactly! The majority of RedOne's solo work is pretty... bland (to put it nicely :hor: ) in my opinion, and yet Gaga made magic with him.

Just THINK of what she can do with the huge talent that is Mark Ronson and Kevin.

Exactly! She brings so much to the table. And I have a feeling all this time off has cleared up her head and got her to write real classic songs again, almost Carol King/esque but with more edge, that´s what I´m thinking. But there´s nothing set in my head at all. I just think the base songs are gonna be her best work yet and would all sound awesome acoustic but even better after the producers are done with it.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

I don't want too much of Funk on the album but I think Gaga would do something special and different from their recent production :)

I think it mostly depends on SONG, if Gaga wrote a great song no matter who produced it, it'll be great.
