It's her most iconic dress, and definitely one of the defining moments in pop culture. The moment I saw that dress I knew she was the most special artist of our generation.

I just love that she has a steak as a hat. 

I remember it causing a huge controversy at the time and I remember not being fazed by it. I'm still not. 

I do kind of resent that "meat dress" has become synonymous with "Lady Gaga", though. Every article referring to her past work, every hater who wants to use something against her, has to bring up the meat dress. So boring now.

I got over the meat dress years ago. People made a lot of fuss about it, it was tiring (from the fans AND the non fans).

I can't at the fans acting like it was all pure statement and """art""". We all know she went for it because of the shock value. She wanted it to be HER night and she did everything for it to be so. Nobody is talking about the statement when the meat dress is talked about. 

But I also can't at the haters still talking about the meat dress as if Gaga was all about it.

In my opinion it was a little much but gaga was slaying at the time period so it was pretty cool actually.

Part of me wonders how she was comfortable wearing raw meat tho. Does anyone know what she did for the tour outfit or how she kept the outfit? Like what did they do with it to not make it smell or was it not real meat?
