HYBE is partnering with Grammy-winning producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder to form a new boy group.

The project, to be led by Tedder alongside HYBE chairman Bang Si-Hyuk and HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun, will kick off with a global talent search. Once the members of the group are chosen, a training program fusing HYBE’s storied K-pop development program with creative direction from Tedder will commence in Los Angeles.

Applicants to the project, which is open to individuals of all nationalities between the ages of 13 to 23, must submit a photo portfolio, performance videos and a personal introduction video.

Reject False Icons

When Gaga said the music industry is a men’s club that’s what confirms it

I thought Ryan Tedder wasn’t as shitty but never mind

Ryan Tedder is the one who basically gave Beyoncé and Kelly Clarkson the same track to write over, resulting in people saying “Already Gone” was a ripoff of “Halo”. I always thought that seemed like a non-decent thing to do.

Halo was written months before Already Gone  by Ryan and Evan Bogart, and sent to Beyonce's camp.
Evan explained why these songs sound similar:

He makes it sound nice but I know Kelly was upset about it, which is understandable.

Edit: Kelly was upset because she was worried people were going to say she copied Beyoncé, which is exactly what happened.
