This image tho.

I swear no one just cries in their way leaving their hotel. This woman was thinking a lot in that era, she was connecting with her inner feelings on a whole new deep level, searching for answers.

Barefoot+Lady+Gaga+Cries+Tears+Sadness+J

I don't know but the expression screams:

What do I want?
What does my audience want?

Is this the right track to tread as an artist?
Why does no one understand me?
Why do I still feel so empty after all these accomplishments?
I'm such a fcking loser, I can't even fulfill my promises to my fans, I thought I was able to make them happy.

Swan Heart

This makes me so sad.

She had this whole vision of the album cycle that she didn't have the strenght and probably the freedom to make true. She was obvously not feeling like herself, you can see it in the way she talks.

It was just such a mess and it could have been so much more.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

Lady Gagging

ARTPOP will always have a special place in my heart despite its shortcomings. It's when I became a fan and I hope it can highlight Gaga's versatility and resilience as an artist.

Dangerous Man

The concept of ARTPOP was really superb and looked very promising, the execution was just bad, oh well.

REALITY

The era really shows her perseverance, though. It's no secret that the era didn't go as well as expected, and there were many things behind the scenes, that Gaga has alluded to, and has just plain outed.

It's sad, because this era was really meant to showcase her. ARTPOP is who she is. She uses art, fashion, and technology to encompass her music and her messages. She puts 'art' in front of everything, even looking back at albums like The Fame. Look at Just Dance. She's wearing the iconic Bowie lightning bolt.

Hopefully though, with this new era, she'll feel more like herself and she'll feel finally free.
