I mean, there are destination you should not got for your own safety, if you are taking risks then that is brave of you but there will be price to pay.

There are reasons why some places are not popular within LGBT as travel destination. Better safe than sorry.

Hope things will resolved soon for her.

Maybe they don't wanna feel the world is cut off to them? Maybe business brought her there? A bit of compassion wouldn't kill you

It's illegal there. No matter how you feel about the law, until it's changed, don't go.

Don't stick your hand in the gators mouth and expect him not to bite.

Everyone knows there morals are for sh!t, nothing will change as long as religion has a hold on their government.

This is unfortunate. She could have gone stealth but because she's in the spotlight, things like this come out. Transwomen that are unable to pass or are binary enough to be famous in the public eye deal with **** like this, but if you're stealth then the world is your oyster and nobody will suspect that you're trans.

Sometimes I forget I'm trans, but it hits hard when I think of what non-passing trans people have to go through. It's easy for me to cruise through life without odd looks like I used to get, use the bathroom corresponding to my gender like it's nothing, and get comments such as "I would have never in a million years known you were trans" from the very few distant family members I choose to disclose to. But it's not easy confronting the brutal reality of the lives of less fortunate transpeople.

Even Gigi, a trans celebrity, still faces troubles regarding her gender.

Gigi was born Gregory Lazzarato, but says her passport has been updated since she transitioned ... it now reads "Gigi Loren."

I remember her mentioning in a video that her actual legal name is "Giselle." Hmm..

Ya but no one even talks about it. I need the Kardashians and all the other str8 cis celebs who frequently visit yet nothing happens to them to speak up and talk about it.

Underage drinking, smoking weed, driving over the speed limit are all against the law but that doesn't mean people don't do them. In the same way she doesn't exactly look like a cisgendered male so maybe she thought she could pass.

unless the insinuation is that she is doing it for publicity, maybe just send some positive energy her way and hope she's released soon

Lord Temptation

This "country" has a horrible history of human rights abuses against migrant workers. Boycotting the country is the only way they will change. Anyone who visits is tacitly expressing approval of the regime.

Western Celebrities don't need to talk about it, it won't change anything for Saudi Arabia.

Underage drinking, smoking weed, driving over the speed limit, they all carry sentences that are minimal compared to Saudi Arabia's punishments.

I'm sorry, but that's not an excuse for a lapse in judgment. She's putting herself in mortal danger.
