Well true, but R. Kelly's accusations are pretty much in his name "brand" now.  You're talking about a guy on a national case w/ hard video evidence vs. a weak case (imo) presented by Kesha that hasn't been passed court.  I feel like Gaga's situation is worse in this case.  Also, if we can say "that's in the past".. then this situation with Katy, could be in the past also.  Not saying any kind of torture these women went through should be looked through over the other, but R. Kelly has a very very strong case against that has tied his name to this case for over two decades.  Not to mention Gaga was a teenager when these accusations surfaced, so she should've been well aware of this situation before even writing "Do What U Want".

What is this, guilt by association? I don't think Katy should get backlash for still being Luke's friend / work partner.

Generally, I think just because you have a friend who is allegedly accused, a criminal or otherwise means you have to be ostracized together with that friend. What if you have a family member who is a criminal, would you not talk to them anymore? I'm coming from the POV of someone who have worked with criminals and drug addicts before in a rehab program.

I just don't get the hate for people who is associating with criminals, well, given that they are not participating in the crime as well. So what if you are still friends with this guy who allegedly did a crime?

I agree with you 100%.  We really shouldn't pass judgement on her because if they've been good friends all these years, wouldn't she be wrong to turn her back on a friend?  It's like you said, if a family member committed a crime, does that mean you should sever all ties and act like they've died?  Guys, think about this before you judge Katia Patra.

I'll be as diplomatic on this issue as possible. The man hasn't been proven guilty in a court of law, and since the evidence is very very sparse, I can't condemn this man, or his supporters. I condemn the act, and anyone that supports or profits from it, but he is in essence, innocent.
