Is Chaos Angel really a good idea?

I like the sound of Chaos Angel, like an ARTPOP and BTW hybrid.

Born This Way and ARTPOP?

Did you expect Heavy Metal Lover on an album called Born This Way?

The album's message is about self-acceptance and love. The quote said that the album's names didn't reflect the album. I would actually expect a song like Heavy Metal Lover on Born This Way. Not only does the sound of it fit, but the lyrics also make sense for that era:ย

"Dirty Pony I can't wait to hose you down
You've got to earn your leather in this part of town
Dirty pearls and a patch for all the Rivington Rebels
Let's raise hell in the streets drink beer and get into trouble"

Well the guy you quoted was also responding to people who don't think Chaos Angel is a good title because they can't imagine certain songs/sounds on it. His point was that the album names and the actual album don't connect all that well. And while I can sorta see where you are coming from relating a line about a bunch of young party goers in New York to Born This Way, really it just means that it doesn't matter what the album is called because any concept can be related to any other concept if you try hard enough.

What could a song possibly be about that you can't relate to Chaos Angel in some way? :unicorn:

I never liked the nameย "Chaos Angel"ย tbh, there's just something about it...

ย

Me neither. "Angel" is overused, and "Chaos" is not enough to complement it.

I'm sure Marina Abramovic would tell Gaga this titleย lacks the "good vibrations" of "ARTPOP".ย :koons:

The concepts are connected though. The "young rebel in New York"โ€”or just really any optional settingโ€”relates directly to the concept of Born This Way. The concept was that no matter who you are, you have to love yourself and accept yourself for who you are. The "young rebel" is just one of those people that identifies with Gaga directly.ย

Sorry but this is ludicrous. Far from what sheย needs, has everybody forgotten that she's one of the most original artists, not only in the industry today, but that has ever lived? With ARTPOP being a conceptual exception, Gaga has no trouble creating her own album titles, as she is a damn creative genius. It seems like nobody can let go of ARTPOP, and righteously holds her accountable for the one time she wanted to have fun and felt a genuine need to rebel and experiment.ย ย At least we can say we are fans of a strong woman who dared to take that chance all for the love of creation. She is the most pure of heart in the industry, her intentions are always innocent, and yet fans still cry and yell like children who have known nothing but instant gratification.ย

Definition:ย Instant gratificationย is the desire to experience pleasure or fulfilment without delay or deferment. Basically, it's when you want it; and you want it now.Instant gratificationย is the opposite of what we've been taught and try too hard to practice โ€” delayed gratification.

I blame the immediacy of 21st century technology and modern industrialย consumerism. The "Gagas"ย of history didn't get this treatment from their own fans, at least not in this way.ย

are you gaga?ย :stalkga:

I had to checkย if someone asked you that before I did to be honest because it seemed very likely to meย

The album should be called "Rebel Rebel" or "Explicit Beauty".

I absolutely love the sound of "Rebel Rebel", it fits her so well, unfortunately it's already a David Bowie song (you're probably aware of that and being sarcastic, don't mind me) and I doubt she wants to haveย people accusing her of copying David Bowie.ย
