Yall are taking it too far.  I mean, I want her to have high profile performances again because I loved them in the past, but it's not like she's gonna go straight up bankrupt because she doesn't perform at the VMAs. 

Also, she hasn't promoted her own work on stage for like a year (minus TIHTY) and her label hasn't dropped her.

i am not saying she will go bankrupt......but is her NEW WORK does not bring enough money her labels will stop putting money into her and her work because it would just be a waste........and she didn't promote because there was nothing to promote

This is why I think August 19:

1. GMA spot has not been revealed yet, great platform to premiere a single

2. Week before VMA's

3. The music video can come out on Aug 19 and the VMA's will be the week after. So that way she doesn't overload promo in one week.

4. ARTPOP was her dream era, so she wants to re do it with this album by copying the schedule and is prepared to slay with great material.

5. It makes the most logical sense by a sales point of view.

Anywho, I'm hoping that the single comes in the 26, and the album during the Holiday season because even Cheek to Cheek had boosted sales that helped it reach 1 million sales.
