Gaga has done one jazz album yet her whole career is based on pop, and she isn't a pop girl? Madonna has a jazz album but is she a pop artist? Yes, obviously.

I hate when I see Nicki Minaj in videos like these. She never was a pop singer, she's just a rapper that charts on the pop charts. Of course she doesn't have a good singing voice, but she's an amazing rapper. 

Also, these videos are so biased. They show a couple seconds of a singer hitting a bad note and then compare it to a video of another singer hitting a good, long note with tone. Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez have great voices, and they were just performing on a bad night.

Take it for what it was - a joke. Clearly it doesn't compare Gaga's horrendous Judas performances so it's clearly meant in shade but not ill faith.

Then why is she singing live a pop song?  Good or bad at it, with singles like Superbass, Starships and the other pop/edm collabs (which most of them are the biggest hits of her career) she got herself into the pop genre and exposed openly to criticism.

I've have seen this video so many times, mostly because of the awesome vocal compilation of Gaga. But for those defending the other artists, I'm extremely interested to watch better videos of them. No shade, no joke, I really wanna see a fear comparison too!

Her record company probably made her do so, because they knew it would be more successful on the mainstream charts than a rap song. Some record companies have more control over the artists than the artist themselves, unfortunately. She was meant for rap, 100%.
