I've noticed that the Media Section is getting rather bulky. It currently stands at 360 pages, with 25 threads on each page.

Which means we've hit exactly 9,000 threads... yes, nine thousand. Since we already have most of those threads archived permanently on GagaVerse, I will be personally culling the old ones until about 2014 or so. 

Important threads of course will be saved, and everyone can access all of those threads up until 2015 with our current Gagaverse archives already in place. 

Back in October 2011, GGD switched from VBullentin format to the current IPS/IPB boards we are on today.

This version of GGD (by this I mean the one you are using now), from October 23rd, 2011 to about February 4th, 2015, is backed up on Gagaverse. The link for the Audio Section that covers that timespan is here: http://gagaverse.com/ggd/GGD2.0/Lady_Gaga/Media/Audio/index.html

I won't be deleting threads that aren't backed up. You have my word on that one!

It's good time for a cull to, though. Half the links are dead in there. There's no point in looking back at them since the links don't work and most of the users who made the threads aren't active or have maybe lost the files in some way.

I will keep up certain threads for that reason, since I know (having been here so darn long already , lol) who a lot of those people are. We will always have the archives too, so if it's really important, and god forbid GGD is disabled for some reason, its' hosted on a separate server.

Well a lot of those links will be dead due to age and copyright crap and god knows what else. Which is why preservation is so important. You can google the fame ball intro described and it should come up.

believe me I have scoured the internet many times looking for it but it doesn't seem to exist anymore or whoever has it won't share  the only versions of it online are super LQ. (I mean the audio, not the video)

Well by super hq, what kilobytes are you talking about, would 320 be enough? I'm pretty certain I have it 320kbps but it has been a long time.
