Remember a lot of sci-fi has roots in fantasy. Genomes could be seen as homunculi, which is from alchemy. Though alchemy is a mixture of fantasy and science. Though you are right in that X sticks with a very fantasy storyline. So I guess 9 and 10 are equal on the fantasy. I also like to call them the summoning saga, since so much emphasis is put on aeons/eidolens in the story. Haha well I used to make remixes but I thought I sucked.
