BloodyJudas 2,758
In my humble opinion, the BTW album would have sold much better, if Gaga had released the singles the other way. I presume it could have even outsold "TF" and become the album of the year. If I were to choose, I would definitely opt for releasing either "The edge of glory" or "Marry the night" as a second single. To my dismay Judas didn't turn out to be hit song and if the album had been supported by another smash his, it would have sold even more than 1,5 million in its first week of release. I would give "Heavy Metal Lover" a shot and release it as a single. It is so catchy and moreover it has an interesting theme. I would even risk making "Bloody Mary" a single. Even thought it touches upon a plenty of religious subjects (Jesus, Ponctius Pilate), it could have caught on among young people. I am waiting impatiently for her next work! I am keeping my fingers crossed for her! I love her above all as she has helped me a lot. Thanks to her I have become much more brave and confident and I just hate it when my class mates say she is over since she is not releasing any new songs now. I must admit polish radio stations (I am Polish) play her songs a lot , especially "Paparazzi" , "Bad romance" "Poker face" and "Alejandro" which was number one song for 5 weeks in my country! Keep up with good work Gaga! Pardon my broken English :)

Ignorance and pettiness has cost Lady Gaga something very grave. It's something that should have never happened, and it's embarrassing and depressing. But there's absolutely no reason to mope. The biggest stars are what they are because they can shrug off the biggest debacles and stay strong, thereby keeping their message strong and their fans happy and contented. We should give Gaga strength by being strong and mature.
Americano 31,061
I'm sure Gaga will be fine. First and foremost she's a business woman.

But either way with Adele's 21 blowing up because of RITD, Gaga was destined to be a tad overshadowed.
Americano 31,061
I think Born This Way sold as much as it could. She released the most commercial songs and promoted the hell outta it. It did fine. The Fame only sold more because that was her true breakout.
