Wow, if Turn up the Radio is the next single from M, she's gonna flop harder than GGW.

No one even remembers Madonna released an album this year :troll: Even if she did release a more single worthy song, I doubt radio would even pick it up.

Nothing that wasn't released on BTW was very single worthy anyway.

Agreed. Some critics commented on that fact when the album came out.

Born This Way was such an event. Only Gaga could do something like that in this generation. Could you imagine people taking Katy seriously if she got all sentimental at the VMA's and sung the chorus of the lead single to Teenage Dream like Gaga did for BTW. Or if Rihanna sung a snippet of WFL, or even Madonna singing parts of GMAYL... people would laugh them off the stage. :nails:

that what makes Gaga different from other pop stars.

when she is sincere, you can't help but believe her.

I just took The Most Deluded GGD User award

I'm team Superstar, but then again, the album is just a mess, nothing will save it. :nails:

There's higher expectations of the Ga tbh.

Hair? Scheisse? Bad Kids? Highway Unicorn? AMERICANO?

BAD KIDS!?

Yeah OK, let's send the worst song on the album to radio :usrs:

And Hair is just too cheesy for radio.

And a song with the title Highway Unicorn being released as a single is just laughable tbh.

Agreed. Some critics commented on that fact when the album came out.

I remember at New Year, MTV wrote that they couldn't understand why she hadn't release HML as a single, saying it was clearly the best song on the album and should have been sent to radio.

Bad Kids is pretty radio-friendly IMO.

More than MTN.

Marry the Night is arguably the most radio friendly song on the album.

I can't remember which critic said it, but one was like "If Gaga doesn't send Marry the Night to radio she is missing a hit because it is a sure fire smash" and when it was first sent to radio, DJs were introducing it as "the future number one".

What is radio friendly about an intro of Gaga screaming and cheesy lyrics?

THIS is why it was appropriate to end the Born This Way era. If Marry the Night, the song with the MOST hit-potential flopped, then it goes without saying how her riskier songs would have performed. Not well

Yeah, soon as MTN tanked I knew that was it for the album.

I think Scheisse would have performed a lot better as a single, although I personally prefer Marry the Night. Scheisse is more in-tune with the dance music that was on the radio in November.

Scheisse had random made up words in it. I don't get fans that think it would've been a runaway hit.
