I don't really care that Nicki sold out. I like Starships, Va Va Voom and a few of the pop songs on PF:RR. I could care less if it is artistic and creative. It's POP music, it's primary goal is to get you singing along and dancing like a maniac. If your a pop star and your muisc can't do that then I don't think you should be called a pop star.

That's such a trashy and not real definition of pop. Michael Jackson, Madonna, The Beatles, etc have all done pop music with depth and creativity.

Figures you Stan for Britney and say that.

I really wanted to say that but thought a second time about it. But I cosign what you say wholeheartedly. It doesn't surprise me that a Britney fan is ok with selling out. Britney epitomizes what it is to be a sub-par talent pop star.

Let me have my low standards for pop music in peace. Thank You.

Plus, if Britney didn't have what it takes to make amazing pop music and be the star that she is, I don't think FOX would of shoveled out $15 million for her to be on X-Factor. :awesome:

Pop music (a term that originally derives from an abbreviation of "popular") is a genre of popular music which originated in its modern form in the 1950s, deriving from rock and roll.[1] The terms popular music and pop music are often used interchangeably, even though the former is a description of music which is popular (and can include any style), whilst the latter is a specific genre containing qualities of mass appeal.[1]

As a genre, pop music is very eclectic, often borrowing elements from other styles including urban, dance, rock, Latin and country;[1] nonetheless, there are core elements which define pop. Such include generally short-to-medium length songs, written in a basic format (often the verse-chorus structure), as well as the common employment of repeated choruses, melodic tunes, and catchy hooks.[1]

So-called "pure pop" music, such as power pop, features all these elements, utilising electric guitars, drums and bass for instrumentation;[1] in the case of such music, the main goal is usually that of being pleasurable to listen to, rather than having much artistic depth.[1] Pop music is generally thought of as a genre which is commercially recorded and desires to have a mass audience appeal.[1]

Are you serious, do you even know what a station like FOX is capable of? Probably not, but I should probably not be here to ruin your dreams. You will eventually figure it out on your own.

Looking like it's peaking already. American Idol may help boost it later on, though.

WHYB looks to be a decent but non memorable hit.

Kind of like Cheers (Drink to That)

WHYB is DEFINITELY ending the TTT era right?

She needs a break......all this overexposure.

What...... :wtf:

What dreams do you speak of? I already acknowledged that I have low standards in pop music and I'm more than aware of the fact that Britney is very lazy and is doing all of this for the money. I'm not an idiot.

But none of that is gonna stop me from loving her music and enjoying her music videos and tour and watching her on X-Factor.

Honestly, I just love Britney and I like to stan for her/speak about her because she is still such a sweet girl, I really can't hate her no matter what.

She can put out an album full of Big Fat Bass's and I'll still love her (But I sure as hell wouldn't buy the album :yell: ).
